About

Two translators, working together since 2019. Between us, a mechanical engineering background and fifteen years of documentation work.

We started because the manuals we were being asked to fix had all been translated by someone who never saw the machine. The terminology was defensible in a dictionary and wrong on the shop floor. Most of what we do now is avoiding that: reading the drawings, asking about the parts, and keeping a glossary that survives from one revision to the next.

How we are set up

A small practice on purpose. There is no account manager and no pool of freelancers behind us — the person who answers your email is the person doing the work. It means we turn things down when we are full, which we would rather do than quietly hand a job to a stranger.

Files and confidentiality

Source documents stay with us and are not used for anything but your work. We keep the glossary and the translated set so revisions are cheap later; everything else is deleted once a job closes. If you need something else — a signed agreement, a fixed retention period, deletion on delivery — say so before sending files and we will work to it.
